We love seeing where our Wilderness adventurers get to on their travels! The Fong family from Hawaii explored the North Island of New Zealand on a Wilderness Motorhome adventure back in March, and sent us this awesome feedback and video from their trip. "This was our first trip to New Zealand, and first road trip as a young family! We wanted to do more than simply SEE the North Island, we wanted to LIVE it - something we could only do with a Wilderness Motorhome. With two young children (Emma 6 years and Abigail 4 years), our motorhome allowed us to go at our own pace and be spontaneous.
"Along the way we ventured to Sheep World (Warkworth), Sandspit (Matakana), Coromandel - Hot Water Beach, Hahei, Cathedral Cove, and Karangahake Gorge, Hobbiton, Tamaki Maori Village, Rotorua Luge, Waikite Valley Thermal Springs, Waiotapu, Lake Taupo and the Waitomo Glow Worm Caves and captured some memories of our trip on video. All members of the family helped film this humble video."
"We hope that it conveys the excitement and adventure we found around every corner, yet the peace and tranquility we escaped to at the end of the day. We found a great variety and balance of things to do that suited each one of us on the North Island, and can't wait to return to the South Island next time!
Thank You! Mariko, Aaron, Emma, and Abigail.
