Yes. All of our Wilderness motorhomes are certified self-contained.
This means they’re approved for freedom camping in places where freedom camping is permitted. A certified self-contained motorhome must have a toilet and enough freshwater and wastewater storage for at least three days of camping.
Freedom camping is a wonderful way to experience the New Zealand backcountry — and Wilderness motorhomes are ideal as they offer that feeling of luxury when you’re off-the-grid. They’re designed to offer comfort and relaxation while travelling to those less-touristy parts of the country.
