Flat or deflated tyre

A flat tyre can happen suddenly or slowly over time. What you do next depends on whether the motorhome can still be driven safely. Although you may have been shown the tyre repair kit (Fix & Go) and tools such as the jack during your motorhome orientation, please do not attempt to repair or change the tyre yourself. These tools are for use by qualified roadside professionals only.

Diagnostics & Steps:

  1. Pull over safely.
As soon as you notice a flat or damaged tyre, reduce speed gradually and stop in a safe location, well clear of traffic if possible.

  2. Switch on your hazard lights.
Make sure your motorhome is visible to other drivers, especially if you’re stopped on the roadside.

  3. Do not attempt to repair the tyre yourself.
Do not use the Fix & Go kit, jack, or other tools. The motorhome’s weight and setup require professional equipment and expertise to ensure safety.

  4. Call Wilderness On-Road Support at +64 9 255 5300.
Our team will arrange professional roadside assistance to repair or replace the tyre safely.
