Google TV asks for a password

Your motorhome’s entertainment system includes access to Google TV. Depending on the model, this may be built directly into the main screen or run through a Chromecast device. A Wilderness Google TV account is already set up, so you can easily watch YouTube and other free services without needing to sign in. Occasionally, Google may automatically log out this account for security reasons. When this happens, you’ll see a prompt asking for a password to sign in again.

Diagnostics & Steps

  1. Option 1 – Get the Wilderness login details. Contact Wilderness On-Road Support at +64 9 255 5300, and we’ll provide the correct password so you can sign back in to the Wilderness account.

  2. Option 2 – Use your own Google account. You can also log in using your personal Google account. This gives you access to your own streaming apps and watchlist.

    Before returning your motorhome, sign out of your personal account to keep your information private. Go to Settings → Accounts → Remove account.
