There’s some good in this world Mr. Frodo — and it’s worth fighting for

When the decision was made to film the Lord of the Rings trilogy entirely in New Zealand, the secret was already out — that the country’s scenery was enchantingly beautiful.

Amazing experience - from our interactions with the staff (who were friendly and helpful) to the motorhome itself. We had The Suite, and it exceeded our expectations. It was comfortable, and everything we needed worked as expected - or even better.

The cherry on top was something I hadn’t realized: most of The Lord of the Rings "non as popular" filming locations (such as Mount Sunday, Glenorchy, Mavora Lake etc) are accessible only by gravel roads, which we were able to navigate with Wilderness! We also slept on Crown Range Road, which was incredible.
