The Ranger 4 uses a popular layout of a corner double bed (known as a 'French bed') in the rear, and drop down double bed up front. This space-saving layout makes the Ranger a compact 6.8m long, so it's easier to park but still has everything for your family or friends to be comfortable on the road. With generous water storage, an extra-large refrigerator, appliances you can operate without being hooked up to mains power (including an inverter for charging devices), you can head for the wilderness.
Every Wilderness motorhome is a premium German designed and manufactured vehicle suitable for travel in all seasons. Every motorhome has insulation, heating, air conditioned cabs, roof vents and latchable windows with insect screens.

Our Wilderness campervans have everything you need to travel comfortably included in the base price, with no extra charges for basics like bedding or kitchen equipment. We’ve even got you covered for making your morning coffee. Here’s what’s included in your hire:
Sheets, duvets (doonas), blankets, and pillows to keep you cosy and clothes hangers for when you unpack.
A full gas bottle, plus crockery, cutlery, cups, glasses, bowls, pots, pans, and cooking utensils. A coffee plunger and kettle will set you up for the morning. There’s also a dish cloth and brush, tea towels, dustpan and brush, and a fire extinguisher.
Bath towels (as many as you’d like), toilet paper roll, water refilling hose, and toilet chemicals.
We’ll pick you up from the airport or your Auckland or Christchurch airport hotel at the beginning of your hire and drop you off again at the end.
We're there if you need us. Call our helpline at any time 24/7, day or night, for assistance with your motorhome - including mechanical breakdowns.
You won’t find any additional charges for extra drivers, cleaning, or one-way hire.
All our rentals include comprehensive insurance with your daily hire. This covers accidental damage to the motorhome and public liability, so we encourage you to be adventurous (but responsible).
Under our standard insurance, your are liable for the NZ$7500 excess (or deductible). You can reduce the excess by taking one of our liability reduction options for added peace of mind.
