From 21 December 2021, all guests aged 12 years and 3 months or older who come on to our bases will need to show their My Vaccine Pass when they arrive.

If you made a booking with us prior to 21 December 2021 and are unvaccinated, we will do our very best to accommodate you. Please contact our reservations team on 0800 110 155 to discuss options for a safe pick up and drop off for you.
If you made a booking before 21 December 2021 and would like to cancel due to our Covid-19 protection policy, our standard cancellation terms will apply.
While New Zealand's borders are closed, we are totally reliant on the support of Kiwis. Should your circumstances allow, it would mean the world to us if you opt for a travel credit rather than a cancellation.
In this case, you would receive a credit to use towards a future booking.

If you are unable to start your trip due to a new COVID level restriction, we can offer you a credit for the amount you have paid to be used for a future booking. The credit is valid until March 31, 2023.

Wilderness is a well established New Zealand company which has been operating for more than 15 years. Since our international borders closed in March 2020, we have refocused the business on domestic tourism. There are so many New Zealanders who are keen to support Kiwi businesses and to use this opportunity to see their own country that we have been very busy since we came out of the first lockdown.
Even now with recent developments, our guests who are unable to travel immediately are choosing to put their bookings on hold and travel with us as soon as they are able.

You can continue to travel in green, orange and red alert levels as long as you abide by the requirements regarding scanning, social distancing, and use of face coverings.
